Parashah Emor (Speak!). An Ancient Framework for Walking in Kingdom for 2026 Messianics

Episode summary: In this installment of The Messianic Torah Observer, we take a walk through Parashah Emor (Leviticus 21:1–24:23), highlighting the Torah’s holiness expectations for the priesthood, the danger of profaning Yehovah’s Name, and the enduring relevance of the Moedim/Feasts of Yehovah. From ritual purity and votive (qodesh) offerings to the Menorah oil, the Shewbread, and Torah principles surrounding justice, this teaching emphasizes “Spirit and Truth” applications for Kingdom living in 2026.

In this episode, you’ll learn

  • How Emor organizes into major subject blocks (Levitical priesthood, offerings, Moedim, sanctuary operations, and Torah principles of justice).
  • What it means to profane Yehovah’s Name—and why the issue is conduct and covenant faithfulness more than pronunciation.
  • How the Moedim function as Yehovah’s appointed times, and why Messianic believers should still take them seriously today.
  • Why Emor’s priesthood material still speaks to New Covenant identity (a kingdom of priests/royal priesthood) even without a functioning Temple.
  • Practical ways to honor Yehovah through worship and offerings that are “without blemish” in spirit, motive, and integrity.

Key themes

  • Holiness (set-apart living): Yehovah’s standards for those who represent Him.
  • Priesthood responsibility: Leadership accountability and “always-on” Kingdom service.
  • Profaning vs. honoring the Name: The witness of the people of Elohim before the world.
  • Worship integrity: Qodesh offerings (material and spiritual) treated as holy.
  • Appointed times: The Moedim as a yearly framework for communion and covenant rhythm.
  • Spirit-and-Truth application: Extracting enduring spiritual principles from Temple-era Torah.

Scripture focus

  • Primary Torah reading: Leviticus 21:1–24:23 (Parashah Emor).
  • Key Emor passages highlighted: Leviticus 21 (priesthood holiness); Leviticus 22 (qodesh offerings); Leviticus 23 (Moedim); Leviticus 24:1–9 (Menorah oil and Shewbread); Leviticus 24:10–23 (blasphemy and justice).
  • Supporting/cross-references used in the teaching: Leviticus 10:3; Exodus 19:4–6; John 4:23–24; Hebrews 10:1; 1 Corinthians 15:46; Titus 2:11–15; 1 Peter 2:9–10; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 1 Peter 1:16; Romans 1:5; Matthew 7:21–23; Hebrews 12:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:19; Revelation 1:6; 5:10; 20:6; John 6:33–51.

Moedim quick reference (as covered in Leviticus 23)

  • Weekly Shabbat (Lev 23:3): set-apart day of complete rest; sacred assembly.
  • Pesach (Passover) (Lev 23:5): 14th of Aviv, at twilight; Pesach meal time.
  • Feast of Unleavened Bread (Matzah) (Lev 23:6–8): 15th–21st of Aviv; holy assemblies on day 1 and day 7.
  • Firstfruits (Yom HaBikkurim) (Lev 23:10–16): day after the weekly Sabbath during Unleavened Bread; wavesheaf; begins the Omer count.
  • Shavuot (Pentecost) (Lev 23:17–21): 50th day from Firstfruits; sacred assembly; offerings.
  • Care for the needy/alien (Lev 23:22): leave gleanings; practice covenant compassion.
  • Yom Teruah (Lev 23:24–25): 1st day of the 7th month; memorial of trumpet blasts; rest.
  • Yom HaKippurim (Day of Atonements) (Lev 23:26–32): 10th day of the 7th month; deny self/fast; no work.
  • Sukkot (Booths/Tabernacles/Ingathering) (Lev 23:33–36; 37–44): 15th–22nd of the 7th month; rejoicing before Yehovah; sacred assembly on day 1 and day 8.

Discussion highlights

  • Priesthood is leadership under scrutiny: Emor portrays priests as consecrated representatives—set apart in conduct, relationships, and service because they serve before Yehovah and the people.
  • “Profaning the Name” is a life-witness issue: The teaching emphasizes that profaning the Name is chiefly about treating the Holy as common through disobedience, hypocrisy, and disrespect—not merely about how a person pronounces the Name.
  • Offerings reveal the heart: Qodesh/votive offerings must be treated as holy and rendered with integrity—whether material gifts, service to others, or “fruit of the lips.”
  • The Moedim belong to Yehovah: The episode stresses that the appointed times are Yehovah’s set-apart convocations, proclaimed at their appointed times as part of covenant rhythm.
  • Temple-era instructions still teach Spirit-and-Truth: Even without an operating Temple and Levitical priesthood, Emor provides enduring spiritual applications for Messianic/Notsrim discipleship.
  • Menorah oil and Shewbread as spiritual pictures: Oil evokes the ongoing work of the Ruach haKodesh; Shewbread points to continual presence before Yehovah and Messiah as Bread of Life.

Practical takeaways for Kingdom living (2026)

  • Audit your witness: Identify habits or patterns that make the holy seem common, and repent/realign before they become “profaning the Name” in public view.
  • Strengthen priestly readiness: Treat your discipleship as “always on”—practice cleanliness of heart, mind, and relationships, especially if you lead or teach.
  • Upgrade your offerings: Offer Yehovah the “best”—excellence, sincerity, and consistency—whether in giving, serving, prayer, or encouragement.
  • Re-center around the Moedim: Mark the appointed times on your calendar, plan rest/convocation where possible, and prepare your household to honor them.
  • Don’t quench the Ruach: Make space for prayer, Scripture, and obedience so that the Spirit’s “oil” continues to burn steadily.
  • Pursue justice and covenant ethics: Let Torah’s seriousness about violence, restitution, and accountability shape your responses to conflict.

Reflection questions

  • Where might I be treating the holy as common—time, speech, relationships, or attitudes—and what would obedience look like this week?
  • In what ways has my conduct (online or in-person) either honored or diminished the Name I bear?
  • Which Moedim do I keep well, and which ones need more intentional planning and preparation?
  • What “offering” (time, resources, service, repentance, reconciliation) is Yehovah prompting me to bring without blemish?

What Does Walking with God Look Like From a Yeshua-focused Torah-Living Perspective?

Episode title: What Does Walking with God Look Like From a Yeshua‑Focused Torah‑Living Perspective?
Overview: In this installment of The Messianic Torah Observer, we will explore the biblical meaning of “walking with God.” Using the lives of Enoch and Noah as anchor texts, the discussion frames walking with YHVH as covenant relationship, moral uprightness (yashar), walking in the light, and Spirit-enabled kingdom living. The teaching culminates with Yeshua’s sobering warning that discipleship is a salvific issue (Matthew 7:21–23): covenant loyalty matters.

In this episode, you’ll hear

  • Why “walk with God” is more than a slogan—it is covenant communion, belonging, and exclusivity.
  • Why Scripture explicitly names only Enoch (Gen. 5:22) and Noah (Gen. 6:9) as having “walked with God,” and what their prophetic burden suggests.
  • How “walking in the light” connects to spiritual/moral purity, fellowship, and kingdom living (1 John 1; Matthew 5–7).
  • How the Hebrew concept of “walk” (yit‑hal‑lek) includes conduct/behavior and relates to halachah.
  • How moral uprightness (yashar) expresses itself in holiness (set-apartness) and the Fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5).
  • Why the Ruach HaKodesh is essential to the walk (Rom. 8:9), and how believers avoid “quenching” the Spirit (1 Thess. 5:19).
  • Why Yeshua’s “narrow gate” teaching makes this a life-and-death discipleship issue (Matt. 7:14; 7:21–23).

Key themes

  • Covenant relationship as the foundation of the believer’s walk (belonging to YHVH through Messiah).
  • Alignment/orientation of the whole life to YHVH’s person, will, and purpose.
  • Walking in the light as fellowship, cleansing/justification, and practical kingdom living.
  • Obedience/loyalty to covenant (faithful living as a response to grace and calling).
  • Yashar (uprightness) as straight/level, genuine, forthright, holy conduct.
  • Spiritual fruit as evidence of the Spirit-led life and set-apartness.
  • Imputed vs. actionable righteousness—what is gifted by Messiah and what is lived out daily.
  • The narrow way—discipleship as a remnant path and a salvific matter.

Scripture references mentioned (for study)

  • Genesis 5:22; Genesis 6:8–9
  • Hebrews 11:5–6; Jude 14–15; 2 Peter 2:5

  • 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Hebrews 6:4–6; Hebrews 10:26; James 2:23; James 4:4; 1 Peter 1:16

Notable quotes

  • “We’ve diminished the power behind the biblical concept of walking with the Father and with the Messiah.”
  • “Walking with Yehovah has a prophetic burden attached to it.”
  • “Walking in the light is Kingdom living.”
  • “Much of our uprightness is imputed… but much of our uprightness is also actionable.”
  • “If we are not walking with Yehovah Eloheyka, we are walking with someone else.”

Reflection / discussion questions

  • When you say “I’m walking with God,” what concrete covenant markers (relationship, obedience, fruit) are you actually describing?
  • Where do you most commonly drift out of alignment with YHVH’s will—habits, priorities, speech, relationships, or unseen thoughts?
  • What does “walking in the light” require you to bring into the open before Father and Messiah this week?
  • How do you hold together imputed righteousness in Messiah and actionable righteousness in daily life without neglecting either?
  • What does set-apartness (holiness) look like in your context—work, home, fellowship, and media consumption?
  • Which Fruit of the Spirit do you most need the Ruach HaKodesh to cultivate in you right now?
  • How does Matthew 7:21–23 challenge cultural assumptions about salvation and discipleship?

Related listening / series connections

  • Covenant Series: This episode is a stand-alone teaching that also fits within the broader Covenant Series framework.
  • Tazria–Metzora teaching on purity: Referenced for understanding purity as fellowship (with emphasis on moral/spiritual purity).
  • Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7): Recommended as the clearest template for “walking in the light” and kingdom living.

Call to action

If this teaching edified you, consider sharing it with a friend or fellowship, and set aside time this week to study 1 John 1 and Matthew 5–7 alongside Deuteronomy 10. Pray for the Ruach HaKodesh to keep you aligned—walking in the light, producing fruit, and living out covenant loyalty through Yeshua Messiah.

Clean or Unclean? The Torah’s Call to Set-Apart Living. My Sabbath Thoughts and Reflections on Torah Reading Tazria-Metzorah

Clean or Unclean? The Torah's Call to Set-Apart Living. My Sabbath Thoughts and Reflections on Torah Reading Tazria-Metzorah

by Rod Thomas | The Messianic Torah Observer

Episode: Torah Reading Tazria–Metzorah — Clean or Unclean? The Torah’s Call to Set-Apart Living

Summary: In this installment of the Messianic Torah Observer, I reflect on Torah Reading Tazria–Metzorah (Leviticus 12:1–15:33), exploring the Torah’s purity standards and how they point beyond the physical to enduring spiritual principles. Using the themes of childbirth, tzaraat (“leprosy”), and bodily flows, this teaching highlights how holiness is protected, how cleansing and restoration work, and how Yeshua refocuses defilement from external ritual concerns to the heart (Matthew 15:10–20). I close this episode with practical encouragement to pursue both physical stewardship and deeper spiritual cleanness as temples of Yehovah’s presence.

In this episode:

  • Overview of Tazria–Metzorah and its three major sections (childbirth, tzaraat, bodily flows)
  • Why purity standards matter: holiness, community, and access to Yehovah’s presence
  • Hygienic and ritual purposes: not mutually exclusive
  • The priesthood’s role: examining, diagnosing, declaring clean/unclean, mediating restoration
  • Quarantine, “seventh day” separation, and “eighth day” restoration as a pattern of new beginnings
  • Cleansing, atonement, and water immersion as recurring Torah themes
  • How to apply “out-of-commission” Torah instructions today through spirit-and-truth principles
  • Sin as the deeper parallel to impurity; protecting the set-apart community from “leaven”
  • Yeshua’s teaching: defilement proceeds from the heart (Matthew 15:10–20)
  • Practical encouragement: maintain the body as a temple and pursue spiritual, emotional, mental cleanness

Scripture references mentioned:

  • Leviticus 12:1–8 (childbirth and purification)
  • Leviticus 13:1–14:32 (tzaraat / “leprosy”)
  • Leviticus 15:1–33 (bodily flows)
  • Exodus 19:5–6 (treasured possession; priestly kingdom; holy nation)
  • Leviticus 19:2; 1 Peter 1:16 (be holy as He is holy)
  • Isaiah 55:8 (His ways/thoughts above ours)
  • Matthew 5:18; Matthew 5:20 (Torah enduring; righteousness)
  • Matthew 6:33 (seek first the Kingdom)
  • John 4:23–24 (worship in spirit and truth)
  • 1 Corinthians 6:19 (body as temple)
  • Hebrews 9 (Messiah’s priestly work; atonement themes)
  • 1 Corinthians 15:46 (natural first, then spiritual)
  • 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (all Scripture profitable)
  • Hebrews 12:1 (sin as weight; running the race)
  • 1 Corinthians 5:6; Galatians 5:9 (leaven principle)
  • Matthew 15:10–20 (what defiles a person)
  • John 8:12; 1 John 1:7–9 (walk in the light; confession and cleansing)
  • 2 Corinthians 5:21 (righteousness in Messiah)

Reflection questions:

  • Where do you most often treat “cleanness” as merely external rather than a heart issue?
  • What patterns of separation and restoration (“seven” then “eight”) do you see in your own walk?
  • How can you pursue set-apartness in practical ways while keeping the focus on spiritual cleanness?
  • Are there “leaven-like” compromises that need to be addressed for the health of your fellowship/community?
  • What does it look like this week to walk in the light and practice confession and repentance?

Rod Thomas: It’s been a long time since my last post >> Rod Thomas: And greetings, saints of the Most High. Welcome to the Messianic Torah Observer, Rod Thomas coming to you on a sultry hot, hot preparation day here in the dfw. And as always, beloved, it is my hope, trust and prayer that this installment of TMTO finds you, your families and fellowships well and blessed. This is going to be a special installment of the Messianic Torah Observer. It’s been a long time, well over a month since my last post. Well, actually going on two months, since I’ve done a post. A lot has happened, A lot is happening with tmto. We’re not going away. We’re here for the long haul. It’s just that, I just. Well, some things came up in the midst of this time that I’ve been away that I wanted to take advantage of. And I’ll get into some of that in just a moment. Shofar blows to signal start of biblical Rosh Hashanah But with that being said, I want to start this discussion off with this. It’s been a long time since I’ve blown the shofar, but this is to signal the start of, biblical Rosh Hashanah. 6026 Hog same Rosh ha Shana. 6026. Yes. The renewed moon was sighted over the land of Israel. This day, this day being March 20, 2026, as well as the barley in the land of Israel was deemed Aviv by qualified searchers over in the land. So, beloved, I want to wish you a brand new, a, blessed, overcoming, powerful, productive new year. And, I’m telling you, we are looking forward to all the great things that this new year will bring. This is going to be a very packed month. As you know, we have Passover coming beginning at sunset on April 2, ending of course at sunset on April 3. Then the same time that sunset takes over from Passover. When that is over, we go directly into the feast of Matzah, or the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at sunset on April 3rd. And it goes for seven days through sunset on April 10th, 2026. In the midst of that, we have the Day of First Fruits, which begins at sunset on April 4th and ends at sunset on April 5th. And also on the Day of First Fruits, we begin, or we have day one of the counting of the Omer. Now, I’ve done many, many teachings over the years on these, these high holy days over at themessianictorobserver.org again, themessianictorobserver dot org if you’re interested in learning more about these important critical days of the biblical calendar year, these are mandated Feast of the Lord mandated Feast of yhvh. I would highly encourage you, humbly encourage you to go over to themessianictorobserver.org and check those teachings out. This is an update on what’s happening at the Messianic Torah Observer Now, that being all said, I want to get into. And I said this is a special installment of the Messianic Torah Observer. It’s an update on what’s happening at the Messianic Torah Observer. Happening with our ministry, happening with me, happening with the content and the future year, the coming months and days and weeks of this biblical calendar year that I want to share with you just so that you are aware of where we’re heading. I guess the best place to start is with me personally. we’ve had. Since I last posted, a lot has happened here in our family, and I have to say, praise y’. All. nothing bad has happened. A lot of wonderful, blessed things are happening. we have some personal things with our house dynamics which have changed dramatic dramatically since I was last on. And that has taken up a lot of my bandwidth in my little pea brain that I’ve been, which has kind of stalled me from doing a lot of content. A lot of responsibilities have been kind of foisted upon me. I don’t want to get into it because they’re kind of very personal, but these are family things that, cropped up and we stepped up to take care of them. And, so it’s kind of stalled my ability to create, produce, study, research, and, bring to you these teachings that are so critical to, to our walk with Mashiach, with Messiah. So that’s happening. I’m. Well, I’m blessed, I’m healthy, and I am, constantly in the word every day. So that hasn’t changed. It’s just a lot of things, the cares of life, let’s just say, have gotten in the way. But I’m working around those things and it’s going well now. Book writing project has been also affected by the personal house dynamics and things of that nature. So the book writing projects, which I’ve always been talking about in the last year or so has been slow in progress. And I’ve got three books right now that I am. Actually, I had started off with one book, but now that has been branched off into three. And I’m in the research and transcription process with those. And it’s, I’ll just let you know, it’s the Spiritual Warfare, Melchizedek and Lunar Covenant, books that will be coming hopefully online here. This, by the end of this Secular Roman calendar year. I am working very hard on those when I can, but unfortunately I don’t have as much time as I used to have just because of those dynamics that are ongoing. But hopefully I can work around them and get as much done as I personally can. So the book writing project is still on and it’s still coming, but it’s not going as fast as I had hoped. But you know, Father is in control and he’s the one who deems when, how and where, so I’m trusting him. This is all that’s happened so far. this secular Roman calendar year of 2026 has been. Because Father, is setting up some things in our lives and it’s, I think it’s good and I’m very happy, and charged by it, but it does take a lot of bandwidth to deal with. I’m working on spiritual warfare, TMTO update and Covenant update So then the next thing is the TMTO update. when I left you, I had just did a post on spiritual warfare that is heavily on the table and it’s heavily. And it’s taking up most of my attention in preparation. I am working feverishly to get that series teachings out to you because these of any days are the end of days, in my opinion. And we need to be girded up with the armor of Yah, because there’s some stuff going on. If you’ve not had your head in the sand, if you’ve been keeping track of the news. There’s a lot of things going on in the unseen realm that require our attention. A lot of messianics, a lot of Hebraic believers just kind of say, well, you know, we shouldn’t concern ourselves with those things, the things that are going on around about round, about us. But I take a little different stance on it. I think we are called because the world is so woke and so depraved and so evil. Let’s just put it this way, the world has turned evil and there is now a war. There’s a dualistic war ongoing. And it’s between the forces of light and good versus, the forces of evil and darkness. So we’re called to stand up to that and do our part in that great cosmic battle that is ongoing. So I’m working really heavily on that in conjunction with the book that will come out of those teachings as well. As I did not get too far in the Melchizedek series. I’m still working on that. I still only have about two or three more installments to that series that we’re working on. And I’M still working on those concurrently as well. Then I have the Covenant update. We’re going to be getting back into the Covenant and that kind of dovetails over to the Lunar Covenant book. And so I’m looking forward to doing that. Another catastrophic failure of our website brought our posting schedule to a halt Now I had mentioned that some things kind of brought our posting schedule to a halt. And one of those things was we had another catastrophic failure of our website. After my last post I got an email from one of our visitors to the site, the website TheMessianictorObserver.org who told me, hey brother, your website TheMessianictorObser.org is broke. It’s broken. I said, what are you talking. I’m saying to myself, what is he talking about? And I go on over to the website and lo and behold, it is indeed broke. The website was broke. So I had to I tried to fix it myself by going over to our web host and try, to see if I can fix it myself. But that did not work anything that I tried. So I had to end up actually contacting our web host. And we were able, praise yah, to get that fixed. And so I’m very happy that that was taken care of. And that kind of nestled me. It kind of pushed me to say, hey, look, maybe this is, maybe this is an indication that we need to take a break and fix some things. So we’re updating the website and we’re working heavily to get some things moved around. It won’t be a drastic update of the website, but it will be a kind of a repositioning of certain content and getting rid of some content as well. So we’re working on that. we’re also going to work on whether or not we’re going to go to video, actual video, video, instead of the audio only videos that we do to YouTube. So we’re still working on that. We’ve got all the equipment we need to do that. It’s just going to add a lot more work to the workflow schedule that we are working on setting up right now. So I’m still out on that. I may just keep it with an audio only video for this 20, 26 year and maybe revisit doing a video video of the post in maybe 27. But right now I’m going to leave it as is. I’m thinking I’m leaning that way. I’m still petitioning father to tell me which way to go. I hate to have all of the hardware and software in place to do it, but then don’t do it. But I have all these backlogged projects that are going that I need to do. Messianic Torah observer focuses on Kenya and the widows Which brings me to an update regarding Kumran Family foundation and Kumran Family Church, which is part and parcel of this overall Internet, ministry that we do with the Messianic Tour Observer. The Messianic Torah observer is essentially an online ministry of Kumran Family Church, what we short call, what we call in a short way, qfc. That is the ministry that basically I oversee. Hillary also participates in that, but very rarely at this point because she has put most of her attention with QFF or Kumran Family Foundation. Now I’ve talked a lot about the Kumran Family foundation, which is a ministry that specifically deals with the needs of the disenfranchised, the downtrodden members of society. in particular, the ministry is focused on Kenya and the widows, in parts of Kenya as well as the orphans, the fatherless in, in Kenya. So right now we’ve got, with qff there are one, two, three, I think there are three active classes ongoing right now. We had one graduating class, but they’re finishing up phase two of their training. So actually in reality there’s four. There’s four classes going on and there are at least two or three other demands to set up a school for widows in other cities of Western Kenya. Now we’re still deciding on how that’s going to happen because all these things take money and our bank account in terms of that is limited. So we’re trying to juggle and figure out how we’re going to accommodate the calls for these new schools and classes in these other places. So again, I’ve said in the past, we covered your financial support for QFF and the work that is being done over in Kenya at this time. So over at kumaranfamilyfoundation.org you will find the website and if you are so led by, we ask you to give, if that is again, something that you’re led to do. So that’s coming. We’re looking. We were going to look at going over, back over to Kenya this spring, but with the war going on in the Middle east and our flights generally land in either Qatar or the UAE and most of those are under attack and I’m not making light of that. I’m just saying that kind of put a snafu in our plans to travel. Not to mention, I don’t know if you’ve been keeping up with this, but airline rates have dramatically increased. I believe last tally was 7% it’s gone up. Plus many of the foreign carriers are going to pass on to the passengers a fuel surplus. So now doesn’t seem to be the right time to go out there. So we’re looking at probably middle to late summer this depending on what the situation is out there. And we’ll, we’ll revisit traveling back over there to, to take care of some of the business of the foundation. we also are working with a orphanage over in Ogembo or with his name Korea Family Care. And we’ve not really had a lot of interaction with them in the past month. They’ve had several, many of the leaders, let’s just say some of the leaders have had some medical problems which is strange that that’s ongoing. So they’ve not really been very active in a lot of things and we’ve been kind of stepping back and letting that kind of work its way out. We’ve been praying, interceding on their behalf, seeking healing and and hopefully things will work out. I did get another reach out from another local one just outside of Kissy, Kenya asking to affiliate with this ministry and if we go back in the summer we will visit and assess whether it’s something we want to involve ourselves with. That’s an orphanage and I don’t know about the widow situation there. So that’s the update for TMTO at this date on this time this is being 3-20-2020, Rosh Hashanah 6,000, 6,026. And we are going to continue working and I just did this because I wanted to take the opportunity to wish you and your family and your fellowships a wonderful and blessed month of the Aviv. Passover, unleavened bread, first fruits. We will hopefully get back online and start posting on a regular basis soon as we can get that website finalized and finish some of the series updates as we move forward. So until then, beloved, may you be most blessed fellow saints in training. Take care. Shabbat Shalom, Shabuatob Hag Same Rosh Ashana.

Drafted Into a Cosmic War: Defining Spiritual Warfare in a Time of Global Darkness: Part 1 of our Spiritual Warfare Series

      Episode Overview

We are living in a time of global upheaval, moral inversion, and spiritual confusion. Scripture warned us that such days would come—but it also prepared us for them.
In Part 1 of our Spiritual Warfare Series, we lay the foundation by answering a critical question:
What is spiritual warfare—from a biblical, Messianic, Torah‑rooted perspective?
This episode introduces the reality of an unseen cosmic conflict between the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness, a war that has been raging since the dawn of creation and one in which every believer is already involved—whether they realize it or not.
Contrary to popular Christian culture, spiritual warfare is not emotionalism, not fear‑based obsession, and not optional. It is covenantal, scriptural, and central to our calling as the redeemed of YHWH in these last days.

      What This Episode Covers

1️⃣ Why Spiritual Warfare Matters Now

      • Global instability, deception, lawlessness, and moral reversal
      • Wars, rumors of wars, and “birth pangs” foretold by Messiah
      • The increasing pressure on faith, families, and covenant identity
        Key Scriptures:
        Matthew 24:3–8; Isaiah 5:20; 2 Timothy 3:1–5; Ecclesiastes 12:13–14

      2️⃣ Defining Spiritual Warfare Biblically

      • Why the phrase “spiritual warfare” does not appear in Scripture—yet the reality permeates it
      • Warfare as a multi‑layered conflict in the unseen realm
      • The difference between the visible, temporal world and the invisible, eternal realm
        Key Scriptures:
        2 Corinthians 4:18; Job 32:8; Ecclesiastes 3:21

3️⃣ The Unseen Realm and the Real Enemy

      • Why our struggle is not against flesh and blood
      • Thrones, dominions, rulers, and powers created by Elohim—some now in rebellion
      • How worldly systems, temptation, deception, and hasatan himself work together
        Key Scriptures:
        Colossians 1:16; Ephesians 6:12; 1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 10:3–5

4️⃣ Spiritual Warfare Throughout the Tanakh and Apostolic Writings

A survey of foundational biblical passages that reveal warfare without using the modern term:
      • Genesis 3:15 – The Protoevangelium: hostility between the seed of the woman and the serpent
      • Exodus 14:14 – YHWH fights for His people
      • Deuteronomy 20:3–4 – Fearlessness because YHWH goes with us
      • 1 Samuel 17:45–47 – David vs. Goliath: the battle belongs to YHWH
      • 2 Kings 6:16–17 – Elisha and the unseen angelic host
      • Daniel 10:12–13, 20 – Warfare in the heavens affects events on earth
      • Psalm 91 – Protection, refuge, and angelic guardianship
      • Zechariah 4:6 – Victory by YHWH’s Spirit, not human strength

5️⃣ Weapons and Principles of Spiritual Warfare

      • Authority given to the people of YHWH
      • Torah (the Word of Elohim) as a primary weapon
      • Prayer, fasting, unity, praise, obedience, and righteousness
      • Assurance: no weapon formed against YHWH’s people will ultimately prevail
        Key Scriptures:
        Matthew 4:1–11; Hebrews 4:12; Isaiah 54:17; Romans 12:21; Ephesians 6:10–20

      6️⃣ Why This Series Exists

This series is not about fear—it is about:
      • Clarity instead of confusion
      • Identity instead of deception
      • Preparation instead of passivity
We are not spectators in a cosmic conflict. We are called to stand, resist, and overcome—not in our own strength, but in the might of YHWH.
